Australian brands usually have one of two China problems: they want to sell into it, or they buy from it. Either way they end up talking to a supplier who only sells them goods — with nobody on the ground doing the work.
Native-language work that a translated page cannot do — written by people who read the comments, not just the brief.
Priced by the role and the hours — part-time through to a full desk. Scoped before you commit.
Running a store on Chinese platforms is a local craft: listings, campaigns, live commerce, creator seeding. It is not a translation of your Shopify store.
Priced by platform count and campaign load. Most brands start with one platform.
This is the one clients pay for without hesitating. They already order from Yiwu and Shenzhen — what they do not have is somebody standing in the factory looking at the goods.
Per project, or a monthly retainer where sourcing runs continuously.
Where the work is a queue rather than a project: editing, motion, retouching, design and development, priced by the piece or by the month.
By the finished piece, or by monthly capacity. A paid two-week trial is the usual start.
| Local hire in Australia | China Desk | |
|---|---|---|

| Time to start | 6–12 weeks to hire | 1–2 weeks to trial |
| Chinese-language work | Rare locally, usually outsourced again | Native, in-house |
| Platform knowledge | Learned from scratch | Current operators |
| Factory access | None | On the ground |
| If it does not work | Redundancy and notice period | Stop at the end of the trial |
We are not claiming a percentage saving — that depends on the role, the hours, and what you already have in place. What differs is the structure: no on-costs, no hiring cycle, no redundancy exposure. We will price your actual scope before you commit to anything.
You contract with Shorenex, not with individuals. Our team is engaged by us — there is no visa, no relocation and no labour-hire placement in Australia. If your legal team needs to confirm how that is characterised, we will send our contract for review before you sign anything.
NDA signed before the first brief. Work product and IP assign to you on payment. Where a project involves personal information, we handle it under a written data clause and restrict access to the named team — this is a two-jurisdiction question, so we put it in writing rather than in a sales call.
No. We do not place candidates into your business and we do not employ people who work on your premises. You buy a delivered scope from us — a store, a sourcing run, a content queue. If you need a formal opinion for your jurisdiction, we would rather you get one than take our word for it.
Yes, on video, before you commit. You will also get their CV or portfolio as a PDF. We do not have LinkedIn profiles to point at — we have documents and a call, which is a better test anyway.
You stop. The trial is paid and time-boxed so that neither side is trapped, and we part with the files and the work done so far.
Often, yes. In sourcing work we usually start by auditing the factory you already use — sometimes the answer is that your supplier is fine and your spec is not.
Bring the job you cannot get done locally. If we are not the right answer, we will say so on the call — that has happened, and it costs you nothing.
